At home care for older people

We believe that getting older shouldn’t mean losing your independence. At Dignity Direct Homecare we provide quality care for our elderly senior service users which enable them to continue living fulfilling lives in the homes that they know and love.

We provide a range of practical support to older service users. We can help them with everyday activities such as personal care, meal preparation, shopping and managing correspondence, as well as giving them the support they need to engage in social activities, which can become more difficult with age. In addition to general elderly care, we can offer specialised care for those living with dementia, Parkinson’s disease and other age-related health conditions. Our care workers can also administer medication and help service users to manage their treatment regimes.

Our elderly home care services for older people are highly personalised. This means that our support plans are built to accommodate not just the assessed needs of the service user, but also their unique preferences and aspirations. This enables us to deliver a personalised service wherein performance is measured against the outcomes (i.e. goals and priorities) specified by the individual service user. This person-centred approach gives our elderly older service users more choice and control over when and how they access the support care they need.

In addition to delivering competent care, our care workers also provide much-needed companionship to older service users. We take the time to learn about the needs, interests and preferences of each of our service users, to select a care worker who best matches their personality. By forging genuine friendships, we create an environment in which elderly service users feel comfortable and confident when placing their trust in our care workers team.
